    Greetings:

As the title says, this BLOG is more than just "technology".  It's also about creative and (hopefully) good grilling and smoker ideas.    Given the weather last Sunday, I could not fire up "Smokey The Baehr" (my smoker), but I was able to squeeze in a little time with "L'il Puff", my grill.    I decided to make something quick, and definitely different, and concocted a Grilled Maple Bacon Wrapped Banana.  Simple steps of preparation are as follows:

    1. I got a banana (actually, two):

    2. Peeled it:

    3. Drizzled it with maple syrup:

    4. Wrapped it in bacon:

    5. Grilled it until the bacon was done.  Note the drip pan to catch the bacon grease to keep the mess to a minimum:

    6. Removed from grill, and served with Steak and Roasted Veggies:

My wife was shocked that this simple recipe tasted so good!   A definite win!
